Unboxing the Xbox Series X

If you are as excited about the upcoming launch of the Xbox Series X as we are, then you’ll want to check out our official unboxing of the hardware.  In this quick video we look at the box, the Xbox Series X console, the controller, and the cabling that you’ll have in your hands very soon.

As you may have seen on other sites, there is a lot to be excited about with the Xbox Series X, including faster load times, quick resume, and essentially silent operation.  I’m working through a lot of testing, but I will share a quick sneak peek with you to kick things off:

Load Times: 

• Control – 61 seconds on Xbox One X
• Control – 11 seconds on Xbox Series X
• Final Fantasy XV – 77 seconds on Xbox One X
• Final Fantasy XV – 14 seconds on Xbox Series X
• Red Dead Redemption 2 – 92 seconds on Xbox One X
• Red Dead Redemption 2 – 50 seconds on Xbox Series X
