Halo: Flashpoint has had an explosive growth in 2026, and Mantic Games wanted to share out some numbers and a world record! Read the press release below.
Today we’d like to share some exciting news that’s less product-led, and specifically regarding the rapid growth of the game – which we believe will be of real interest to anyone in your audiences who follows miniature games and miniature gaming:
- AVAILABLE & PLAYED AROUND THE WORLD:
- Halo: Flashpoint is now available in retailers from even more places worldwide, and 20+ countries, including Mexico, Singapore and Japan.
- Organised Play events have now taken place in 10 different countries from the UK and US to Germany, France, Canada, Australia and more.
- The next season of Organised Play begins later this year, with the final 2026 and early 2027 events open now for registration.
- ONGOING NEW PLAYER RECRUITMENT:
- The September 2026 re-print of the Spartan Edition starter set is the largest since launch. Despite being almost 2 years after the initial launch ‘buzz’, every stock copy was pre-sold before arrival and an additional/next print run is being planned.
- This is a big sign of the game’s ‘health’, popularity and very positive trajectory – which means a very high level of exciting and ongoing support in the pipeline.
- CONTINUED RANGE EXPANSION:
- The Zeta Halo release wave is the most popular set of expansions for the game ever, coming nearly 2 years after the initial launch.
- Including Grunts, Jackals, UNSC Marines and more – this wave of expansions took the fight to the surface of Zeta Halo.
- It also included an update to the game’s ruleset, consolidating essential info from across 2 years of releases back into a fresh re-print of the rulebook, plus a futureproofing balance pass to account for lots of exciting things on the horizon.
- Shipping is underway right now to players and stores all around the world.

- AND FINALLY…A BIT OF FUN…AND A WORLD RECORD!
- Lastly, at MegaXP Con 2026 in Mexico, the community established the world record for the largest simultaneous Halo: Flashpoint painting event – with 101 Spartans painted at the same time. (They’ve laid down the gauntlet - we’ll see who’ll try and beat the record).
Lastly, Mantic wanted to leave us all with a little teaser. Along with crossover content with the upcoming Halo: Campaign Evolved Board Game, a much requested classic Halo faction will enter the before the end of 2026.
