Sword & Sorcery is back on Kickstarter to fund the most epic expansion ever designed for the co-op fantasy dungeon crawler: Abyssal Legends, the mind-bending climax of the Ancient Chronicles and Immortal Souls campaigns. With a funding goal of $50,000, the project will run on Kickstarter until July 26th.

In Sword & Sorcery – Abyssal Legends, the immortal heroes sail to the anchorage of the Ancient Mariner port to investigate a mysterious death at the Heavenshine monastery, and to seek the source of a terrible dream: the shared vision of a sunken city, twisting into a nightmare of blasphemous tentacles, horrifying images, and ending with the silhouette of a titanic creature… the Great Elder One.

Sword & Sorcery is a fully cooperative fantasy board game where one to five players control legendary Heroes with unique powers. Recalled from the dead and made immortal by the will of the Three Gods, the Heroes embark on a quest to destroy false and corrupted deities fighting across land and sea. Weakened by the resurrection, they grow stronger during their story-driven quests. After the success of the first and second seasons, Abyssal Legends is a new campaign set which will bring the dark and scary vibes of the Cthulhu mythos to the Sword & Sorcery world, introducing fearsome new opponents and novel mechanics, including underwater adventures.

The Sword and Sorcery Abyssal Legends Kickstarter project presents two pledge levels:

• Abyssal Hero. The pledge is $99, and its rewards include a copy of the exclusive Kickstarter edition of Abyssal Legends, featuring all the content of the retail version (20 detailed 32mm miniatures, a rulebook, a storybook, over 20 map tiles, site sheets, cards, and tokens), plus all special items, and all unlocked Stretch Goals and Mystery Goals unveiled day by day during this campaign. Exclusive items of the Kickstarter edition include the Abyssal Lord figure, the Master Enemy in a glow-in-the dark version with crystal water base, Abyssal Dice Tray and Critical Bag, the Abraham Hero, Abyssal Minions, and the Ancient Chronicles v.1.5 Upgrade Kit.
• Abyssal Champion. The pledge is $249 and its rewards include everything in the Abyssal Hero pledge level, plus the Ancient Chronicles core set, the act II Northwind Tales campaign set, and an exclusive Kickstarter set featuring the Valkyrie Hero, Myst, the Elf Knight on Foot figure, deluxe maps and deluxe Hero sheets.

The project also presents a selection of add-ons that backers can add to their rewards – optional items, additional copies of items already included in the Abyssal Hero pledge, and reprints of add-ons from the Sword & Sorcery previous campaigns.
