Today, Schell Games announced that I Expect You to Die 2: The Spy and the Liar will head to VR headsets on August 24. The sequel to the critically-acclaimed spy simulator, this game will feature new missions that will put players’ espionage skills to the test.
Schell Games announced today that I Expect You To Die 2: The Spy and the Liar, the sequel to their award-winning VR escape-the-room puzzle game, will launch August 24, 2021, on SteamVR, Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and PlayStation®VR headsets. The game will be priced at $24.99 across all stores at launch. Eager spies now can pre-order the game for a 10% discount from Oculus Quest and from PlayStation™Store for PS VR.
Schell Games also debuted a mixed-reality trailer, teasing some of the formidable puzzles and twisty story players will experience in I Expect You To Die 2.
Schell Games recently revealed that geek icon Wil Wheaton and award-winning vocalist Puddles Pity Party are lending their talents to I Expect You To Die 2. Wil Wheaton voices celebrity extraordinaire John Juniper, who joins players on their quest to stop the Zoraxis’ nefarious plans. Puddles Pity Party uses his golden baritone to deliver a show-stopping performance of the game’s theme song.
I Expect You To Die 2 picks up right after the end of the first game and takes players on a journey through six brand new missions. The world of espionage is full of ingenious puzzles, cunning villains, and dangerous locales. Players will need to think creatively to survive and reach the explosive ending of the game’s thrilling story.
