Getting your people into games

I've mentioned it in my reviews here and there; my family doesn't do board games. My wife absolutely detests them, and the rest of us are generally just too busy catching up whenever we get together  to get anything on the table. I'm lucky enough to live in a city with a thriving tabletop scene, but I know some of y'all need to enlist friends and family to table a game. I've needed to enlist my family a few times to get non-gamers’ perspectives on games, so I developed a strategy for subtly influencing them into a game or two.
