Ares Games and Tabula Games announced a new partnership for Ares Games to distribute in English-speaking countries for Tabula Games:

Ares Games and Tabula Games announce a partnership for the distribution of Tabula’s games in the United States and English speaking countries. The first games coming are the area control and hand management eurogame Mysthea and the deck building card game Volfyirion Guilds, due to be released in July 2025.

Tabula Games is a board game publisher that creates immersive games driven by refined mechanics, where detailed miniatures and stunning artwork drag players into the world of the game. Following successful crowdfunding campaigns and an initially limited release, its game line will now be widely available through Ares Games.

Mysthea Essential Edition is set in an ancient planet shaken by bizarre forces, where anomalies bend the laws of physics and new life has evolved in strange ways thanks to the power of mysterious crystals. Players (2 to 5) take the role of a Champion of Ilvash, hired by the Kingdom's guilds to explore and gain control of uncharted islands floating around the enormous crystal embedded in the planet. The Solo Mode Expansion and the Mysthea Monsters Set will also arrive in stores, along with the base game.
Also coming July 2025, Volfyirion Guilds takes place in the Mysthea Universe, about sixty years before the events of Mysthea. The story centers on five great Guilds, once created by the king of Mysthea to stop the rise of the dominant noble house, and now fiercely competing for power. Volfyirion Guilds is a game focused on strategy and deck building, with two players facing each other over the supremacy of their Guild.

Other games will roll out throughout the second half of the year: the engine territory building and resource management game Icaion, the worker placement game Ryozen, the strategic Eurogame Sons of Faeriell, and the hand management card game Sanctuary: The Keepers Era. Ares will also distribute The Last Spell – The Board Game, tabletop adaptation of the video game “The Last Spell,” successfully funded on Kickstarter in June 2023.
