The Altered TCG has been resurrected by a partnership between Twilight Dimension and Equinox via a print-to-demand model:
Twilight Dimension, Inc., publisher of the Forgefire suite of software, today announced a partnership with Paris-based game studio Equinox, to make the Altered TCG available to consumers as print-on-demand via Twilight Dimension’s Forgefire Connect platform.
The Altered TCG burst into gaming scene in February 2024 as one of the most successful tabletop- related crowdfunding campaigns ever created. Four additional sets followed the TCG’s initial release, and the game attracted thousands of players at its major events. In early 2026, due to adverse market conditions, Equinox decided to discontinue the game.
The entire collection of Altered TCG cards, including those from two unreleased sets, is now available to players as print-on-demand products on the Forgefire Connect platform. Product options include standard as well as foil cards, and availability in multiple languages.
In addition to the cards, Equinox will use Forgefire’s print-on-demand service to make hundreds of customizable playmat designs available, drawing from Altered’s vast trove of gorgeous artwork.
“We are thrilled to work with Equinox to make this beautiful game available to the thousands of players that continue to play, as well as to new players looking to enter the world of Altered”, said Christian T. Petersen, CEO of Twilight Dimension, Inc.
“So much love and care was put into this game, and so many fans remain loyal and engaged.” said Régis Bonnessée, CEO of Equinox and designer of the Altered TCG. “We are therefore pleased to work with Forgefire to give our game a new life in the form of their high-quality print-on-demand solution”.
Print-on-demand cards and playmats from the Altered TCG are now available through www.forgefireconnect.com
