I cover a lot of Abiotic Factor content on both GamingTrend and the Pixel Panda Arcade. I adore this game; it is one of the best survival games I have ever played.
So here is what we know so far, as well as what I could tell from the shared screenshots.
We are going to the GATE Leaf Test Facility! Which means this is an actual expansion. Here is what the Steam page says:
Embark on a new tropical adventure, roaming sun-drenched seas and forgotten islands. Investigate the warped GATE Leaf Test Facility and surrounding isles, confronting a new breed of fanatics, digital disorder, far-flung anomalies, the Flesh Dimension, and much more in this world-crossing DLC expansion.
Now let's take a look at some screenshots.
They kept this creature as hidden as possible. It looks like it's wearing boots? My first thought is Space Queen because of the penguin-looking thing in front of the glass.
Something clearly happened here, but I'm not sure that we can blame The Order just yet.
We also know that Abiotic Factor and Dredge are doing a collaboration, which is what this looks like to me. Regardless, this shot is beautiful.
We also got a look at new robots, which look so cool. They have that digital marking on them as well, which is pretty interesting. The floor seems to bend through LEAF, which makes me think that something having to do with Space Queen changed the place.
We know that we are getting fishing improvements, too. The boat, hammock, and coffee cup with the umbrella in it are all new.
Finally, we got a shot of a character swimming underwater. We can also see a building or a submarine in the back. Seeing fish like that is also new, and I can't wait! Be sure to wishlist the DLC today!
