As inXile anticipates the release of the dungeon crawler The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep, the developer has announced that the game will have a price drop on the PC when the game gets released on September 18. As part of the Wishlist Initiative, the game has officially dropped down to $34.99 from its original $39.99 retail price.

Fans have been waiting for a new installment of this classic role-playing adventure for 30 years, and in just five days, The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep will arrive! inXile is pleased to announce that the second achievement in The Bard’s Tale IV Wishlist Initiative has been unlocked, meaning the game will release on Windows PC for $34.99 (down from $39.99) on Sept. 18. With the price set, pre-order options are now available on Steam, GOG.com and Humble.

Journey to the magical land of Caith, exploring maze-like dungeons, overcoming challenging riddles and battling fearsome creatures in the series’ signature dynamic turn-based combat system. Featuring more than forty hours of gameplay, you’ll be able to build up an adventure party with heroes of many talents and arm them with incredible weapons you can enhance by solving unique puzzles. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a soundtrack brought to life by some of the most talented performers in the Gaelic music scene today.

The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep is also in development for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Mac and Linux.
