If you miss the sound of dial-up internet, No More Robots and Tendershoot have announced that its upcoming nostalgic 90s internet simulator, Hypnospace Outlaw, will be released later this year on PC, Mac, and Linux. The game is a throwback to the era of the 1990s, and will include some interesting call backs and aesthetics.

Set in the year 1999, Hypnospace Outlaw asks you to scour the Hypnospace, checking out a wide variety of weird and wonderful websites, keeping an eye on your work email, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful. Think Geocities: The Game, and you’re on the right track.

As part of your job as a Hypnospace Enforcer, you’ll be tasked with keeping the internet clear of wrongdoers, with reports and rewards coming direct from the Hypnospace Patrol Department to your inbox.

And in your spare time, you can customize your HypnOS desktop however you see fit, with a variety of downloads, wallpapers, screen savers and helper bots to keep you company.
