Save up your rings and breadsticks, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 heads to theaters next year

Theaters are starting to reopen around the country, but Paramount is already hoping for some blockbuster magic, as the company has just announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be released on April 8, 2022. This announcement was brought to the public thanks to a short title announcement trailer earlier today.

…We really don’t have much to report other than that fact, but we’re going to assume Tails will be involved based on the stinger of the previous movie.
