Warhammer 40K's large scale revamp of its Ork line continues with new Nobz models. Today, Games Workshop gave Warhammer 40K fans a first look at the revamped Nobz, a beefier veteran unit than the typical Ork Warboyz. The new model set will come with five Nobz models, each of which can be customized. One new wrinkle is that the various melee weapons for the Nobz are all being consolidated into a "kustom krumpas" profile, standardizing various "blades, klaws, and bludgeons" into a single statline.
The Orks will be the first Warhammer 40K army to receive its new codex, following the launch of the game's new edition this summer. The Orks were featured alongside the Space Marines in the new edition's launch box and various starter sets, with the Orks receiving a wide-ranging revamp. In terms of the lore, a new Ork Waaaaaagh has set its sights on the wartorn planet of Armageddon, with the Imperium of Man mustering its forces in defense.
