Team Lionsgate has announced their next 4K upgrade, and this time it’s the ambitious book-to-film sensation, Ender’s Game. Based on the book by the same name from Orson Scott Card, the movie tells the story of Ender Wiggen, a young kid who is entered into a controversial training program that builds up would-be commanders when they are young kids and turning them into masters of the battlefield in their war against the insect-like Formics. This unlikely leader finds himself suddenly on a fast track in the program, but not everything is quite as it seems…
The 4K Ultra HD Steelbook is headed our way on August 8th from Lionsgate, and stars an all-star cast including Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin, Ben Kingsley, and Asa Butterfield as the titular character.
