Canadian Publisher KTBG and Singaporean publisher Origame are excited to announce a distribution partnership that will bring many exciting titles to a North American audience. Both publishers have a similar design philosophy and joining forces to make more quality games accessible to a new audience was an easy decision.
The first three titles available through this partnership are great representations of Origame’s unique library of interesting and beautiful games. In Oh My. Orchids! players expertly gather seeds to plant different types of Singaporean flowers, from dazzling heliconias to delicate orchids. In Chock-a-Block, players build colourful apartment blocks bursting with life. This tile-laying puzzle game is easy to learn, but offers tons of interesting decisions. In Cubemelt, you get to live the life of an ice cube. CubeMelt won’t last long beyond the freezer, but off he goes anyway, living life to the fullest and leaving a trail of positivity before turning into a puddle.
“Origame is very proud of the Asian stories and culture that goes into the making of our games,” said Daryl Chow, Owner of Origame. “We are certain that KTBG believes strongly in this as well and we look forward to working with them to bring fantastic and unique games
to every tabletop in North America!”“We have always loved and respected Daryl’s games as a designer,” said KTBG Owner Helaina Cappel. “We can’t wait to collaborate with him as a publisher to introduce a North American audience to his games.”
Look for more unique, interesting games with an Asian theme, style, and aesthetic coming to North America soon from KTBG and Origame.
