In industry news, Electronic Arts has finished their purchase of mobile gaming giant Glu Mobile. In a staggering 2.1 billion dollar deal, the team joins EA’s portfolio as an accellerant in their mobile gaming spaces. Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, had this to say:

Nick Earl, CEO of Glu Mobile chimed in with his thoughts on where the fit in the game space.

Joining forces with EA will take growth games like Covet Fashion, Design Home, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, and the MLB Tap Sports Baseball franchise to the next level, expanding their reach to even more global audiences. The team adds a whopping 800 employees to the EA team.
