Army Painter announces custom John Blanche paint sets

The newest addition to the Army Painter line of paints are inspired by and designed with legendary illustrator and modeler, John Blanche, set to release on February 22, 2025!

For those who might not know, John Blanche is an illustrator who is best known for his work on White Dwarf   magazine as an art director,  a designer for many models for Games Workshop, and is widely credited for developing the “Grimdark” style of painting.

The paint sets both include 10 new paints, a brush, and an original art print, designed by John himself.

Inside the Masterclass Series John Blanche Volume I, you’ll find 10 rich colours, including 1 unique Speedpaint, 6 Warpaints Fanatic bottles (2 inspired by the Zorn Palette and 4 expanding the Flexible Triad System). The set is rounded out with 2 Washes and 1 Metallic, offering everything you need to bring John Blanche’s vision to life.

Inside the Masterclass Series John Blanche Volume II, you’ll find 10 rich colours, including a unique Speedpaint and six Warpaints Fanatic bottles. The set includes 2 colours inspired by the Zorn Palette and 4 expanding the Flexible Triad System, along with 1 Wash, 1 Metallic, and 1 Effect paint to complete your collection.
