XREAL AURA launches as the first wired XR glasses on Android XR

Your laptop, your handheld and Gemini, all hovering in the room you're already sitting in.

Ever wanted a giant private screen that doesn't wall you off from the room? XREAL AURA is out now, and it's the first wired XR glasses built on Android XR, with transparent lenses so you can still see the people around you.

The glasses come in under 95 grams, with the compute and battery living in a compact puck. It's the first wired XR glasses to launch on the Snapdragon Reality Elite Platform, built with Google and Qualcomm Technologies.

The gaming angle is Wired Mirroring. Plug a laptop or a compatible handheld into AURA over USB-C and it becomes a big private window, sitting alongside native Android XR apps. Android and console games all work on that virtual display, and millions of Google Play apps are there on day one.

Two accessories launch with it: a controller designed with GameSir, with a dedicated Gemini key, and a wireless portable keyboard for multi-window work.
