A few weeks ago I got to sit and chat with Jerry Holkins (Tycho), Mike Krahulik (Gabe), and Ryan Hartman about Penny Arcade’s new Kickstarter for Acquisitions Incorporated Season Two! In addition to the reboot/sequel to the hit D&D liveplay experience, they also discuss sharing the D&D legacy with their kids, the WOTC OGL debacle and walkback, and which of Jim Henson’s Muppets best represents each of them.
~Editor’s note: Almost everything about this video is great- except my (Mike Dunn’s) audio! It turns out when you need to switch tech on the fly right when an interview starts, mistakes can happen, such as double recording an audio track. Not to be deterred, I re-recorded as much of my own audio as possible without stepping on Mike and Jerry’s dulcet tones, but it isn’t perfect, and the level of excitement I exhibit visually might not always match up with the nasal drone of my overdubs. Also, Ryan’s Muppet answer was Sweetums. The echos of my laughter during that segment was unworkable.
Acquisitions Incorporated Season Two is live on Kickstarter now, go pledge, dammit!
