Today we got a closer look at what the team at tinyBuild will be publishing this year and next, including some never-before-seen games from teams we know. There's a lot to cover, so let's get to it.
The Crab is Walking
Kicking things off, we have a new title from the team that brought us The King is Watching entitled "The Crab is Walking" – I'm starting to sense a theme already. In this tactical / tower defense game, you'll pilot a giant crab, fighting from its back as you cross an apocalyptic wasteland. There are over 100 unit types, so this seems like the kind of game built to break your brain with impossibly powerful combinations. The game is coming to PC, PS5, XSX|S, and Switch, but with no specific release date quite yet – stay tuned and wishlist it on Steam.
The King is Watching also got an update, this time focusing on mobile performance. It's official – it's now Steamdeck certified and ready to take on the go!

ReStory
The next game takes us from killer crabs to cozy repairs. In Restory you'll rebuild electronics of all kinds, fixing them and re-building them for their next hopeful home. They also announced that they managed to sell 500k copies, and will be bringing new content on September 21st, including a new device and a new customer!

The Lift
The next game in the showcase is one I'm very excited for, as I said in my hands-on preview for it – The Lift. The lift casts you as a supernatural handyman tasked with helping fix the various issues with The Institute, your employer. As things get more strange, your tasks are equally as odd. Today we got our first real look at the story behind the scenes.
The Lift is launching in 2027 on Steam, PS5, and XBOX Series X|S.

Hozy
Hozy has been a hit on PC, and now the team at tinyBuild has announced that not only is the game coming to console (XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch) later this year, it's also getting a free update for Steam right...now!
If you're not familiar with Hozy, here's a little bit from the developers themselves:
Restore a forgotten neighbourhood through your favourite hobby, one cozy room at a time. In Hozy, clean, paint, and decorate abandoned homes with satisfying mechanics and intuitive controls. Enjoy the little details as you interact with tools, items and furniture to bring each space back to life.

Trainfort
From cozy renovation to hectic survival crafting chaos, our next stop was on a new game called Trainfort. As the name suggests, you and up to three more friends, are in charge of building a train that can repel all sorts of nasty creatures as you explore a massive, procedurally generated world. Your mobile steam engine base has to be crafted and built on the tracks, so anything else is up to you to explore, find, and bring back to the train to move forward. Good luck!
Trainfort is about to have a public playtest – bop by their official Steam page below and sign up if you'd like to join!
Trainfort is eventually headed to PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Road to Jukai
After rattling around in a mobile base, next up it was time for a more tense ride in a night shift taxi. Road to Jukai (previously known as Silent Road) is a driving horror game set in Japan and looks like it should put you on the edge of your seat.
There's a new playtest on Steam, so head over there and sign up for yourself!
Road to Jukai is coming to Steam in 2027!

Drill Core
tinyBuild is bringing a number of quality-of-life improvements to their strategic planet-mining game, Drill Core. In Drill Core you'll dig to the heart of the planet while you manage your workers, research cutting-edge mining tech, and fortifying against alien attacks. Will you prioritize efficiency and risk your workers' safety, or focus on defense for survival? Time to find out!
Drill Core is available on Steam, XBOX Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

SAND: Raiders of Sophie
If you're into chaotic post-apocalyptic squad-based extraction shooters, then I've got something for you! SAND: Raiders of Sophie is an open-world early access game set in an alternate 1910 world where players battle each other in a brutal procedurally generated desert, scrapping astride customizable walking mech fortresses. The trailer reveals that the first major content is coming our way this month!

Hull Rupture
Humans are a flexible species. They can be food, they can be workers, they can be liquified and used for all sorts of things. Soooooo versatile! In Hull Rupture, if the ship stops, so does humanity. Manage your spaceship, use those fleshy humans however you need to, and maybe build out some cannons to deal with those pesky relentless alien attacks. Good luck – the game comes out on November 4th, but a new demo is available...now!

Probably Stolen
Running a shop in the future is a rough business, especially when the world has gone to hell in a dystopian handbasket. Let's have the developers tell us about their game:
Probably Stolen is a cyberpunk shopkeeping simulator set in a dystopian space station. Craft, trade, and smuggle goods of questionable origin, navigate faction loyalties, and stop rampant AI by killing those it controls. Earn enough to buy out your shop before rising rent forces your hand.
If this sounds like your jam, you can check out the demo on Steam now. You won't have to wait too long as the game is headed our way on October 28th, 2026.

Of Ash and Steel: Shattered Faith
The team at tinyBuild and Developer Fire & Frost have been busy, bringing the game to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 soon, but also building out a completely new expansion to the game. In this new update, entitled Shattered Faith, you'll gain access to long-forgotten magic, giving you a completely new advantage in the Kingdom of the Seven. No release date yet, but "coming soon".

Graveyard Keeper II
One of my most anticipated titles, Graveyard Keeper II, is almost here! In this sequel we get all sorts of new ways to put our undead horde to work. Not only can you buy up and gentrify the town, when the dead come a knocking, you can equip your own crew and save the town all over again! It's tough work being a graveyard keeper, but somebody's gotta profit handsomely while they do it!
Graveyard Keeper II is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S on September 22nd, 2026 – yeah, 7 days from today. You've got a demo that'll carry over your full game on all platforms, so you can technically get started now!

Kingmakers
Kingmakers is one of those games that looks even more insane every time we see it, and to cap this year's showcase, we got an extensive look at the game with a 10 minute gameplay deep dive. Story elements, modern weapons, motorcycles, a convertible car, and yes – even a tank await you when the game heads into Early Access.
Kingmakers is launching into Steam Early Access soon, and the players can sign up for the upcoming playtest on the Steam page.
