King's Gambit may be the LOTR game we've been waiting for

We got to sit down with Rob Daviau of Restoration Games at Gen Con this year to get a peek at the hotly anticipated reimplementation of the classic Star Wars Episode 1 Game, Queen's Gambit, now being restored as The Lord of the Rings: The King's Gambit. This new version of the game recreates the ending of the Return of the King, the climactic battle at Pellenor Fields, the attack on Minas Tirith, the siezing of ships at the great port of Gondor, and finally, Frodo and Samwise's journey to throw the ring of power into the fires of Mount Doom. All at the same time!

Oh, and of course this was one of our Best of Gen Con winners this year!
