UBIS (CEO Shin Jun-ho) announced its participation in the ‘2024 PlayX4 B2B,’ which will be held at Ilsan KINTEX Hall 1 from May 23rd (Thursday) to 26th (Sunday).

Based on its IP, Genesis, UBIS is developing Genesis II, an open-world MMORPG. The first installment of Genesis attracted 1.5 million users worldwide, and Genesis: IDLE has also been consistently successful.

At this exhibition, UBIS aims to showcase the user-play version of ‘Genesis II’ targeted for a global simultaneous release on AOS, iOS, and PC in November 2024, and to hold meetings with investors and publishers.

Genesis II is characterized by its high-quality AAA-grade MMORPG with anime-style cartoon rendering. It allows users to choose between single-player and multiplayer modes that align with global trends.

In single-player mode, users can experience various adventures and boss raids. With the developed characters, they can seamlessly transition to multiplayer mode to enjoy real-time Realm vs. Realm (RVR) battles. Genesis II’ provides a high degree of freedom, allowing players to experience team-based PVP through VR battles anytime.

UBIS stated, “We are recruiting publishers and investors for ‘Genesis II,’ focusing particularly on those from the United States, Japan, and China.”

The ‘2024 PlayX4 B2B,’ hosted by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, is themed ‘More Than Just the Joy of Gaming’ and features exhibitions and experiences of new games from Korean and international game companies.
