Are you ready to go on a trip in your favorite rocket ship? Obsidian Entertainment, alongside Virtuos Games and Private Division, has announced that they will release The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch on June 5. While previously delayed due to issues regarding COVID-19, the company has also revealed that the physical release will include a cartridge with a 6 GB update upon release.
Today, Obsidian Entertainment, Virtuos Games, and Private Division have revealed an update for the Nintendo Switch version of the award-winning RPG, The Outer Worlds.
Set to launch on June 5, 2020, the retail version of the game will be available in both a physical cartridge and digital download. Upon release, the game will be accompanied by a day one patch that could take up to 6GB of space. This patch improves the overall experience by adding hi-res textures, various gameplay optimizations, and more.
With the Nintendo Switch, players will be able to take The Outer Worlds anywhere they go. Whether they choose to zap foes with their shrink ray or charm them with smooth-talking abilities, The Outer Worlds lets fans play the way they want and be the galactic hero (or villain) of their dreams.
Both the physical and digital versions of The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch will retail for $59.99 MSRP.
