MOUSE: P.I. For Hire gets brie-lliant accolades trailer

Unsurprisingly, we liked MOUSE: P.I. For Hire a lot. After all, we gave it a 90/100 and our Editor's Choice Award. You can read that via the bookmark below, but we weren't the only outlet to enjoy the game. MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, April 29, 2026 – Today, Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios celebrate the successful launch of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire with an action-packed Accolades Trailer. This brand new trailer showcases just a handful of the critic reviews for the game, all of which praise the title for its gameplay, art direction, music, design, and everything in between.

With both Metacritic and OpenCritic scores of 81, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire has been burning up the review charts as one of the highest-rated titles this year. GameSpot stated that it is “an endlessly charming game that I found a joy to simply behold”, GameRant expressed that the game “absolutely oozes charm in its narrative and gameplay”, and both PC Gamer and Kotaku claim that the game is one of the best shooters they have played in many years.

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is also a hit with players across the board, with player ratings of 95% overwhelmingly positive on Steam, 8.3 out of 10 on Metacritic, 4.88 out of 5 stars on PlayStation, and 4.8 out of 5 stars on Xbox. This critical reception has helped the game surge up the sales charts, reaching #2 on Steam global sales charts and #2 on Nintendo Switch 2 eShop charts. The teams at Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios could not be happier with the results but have not slowed down, having already shifted focus to supporting the title with Hotfixes and Patches to address player feedback.
