Previously it was announced that both Mega Man Legacy Collections would be making their way towards the Nintendo Switch. Today, both collections finally have a release date and have been revealed to be packaged together physically (with 1 download code) or separate digitally.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 will contain all six NES classics with additional challenges including the 11 fan-made challenges from the 3DS version. These challenges can be accessed by using the standard of golden Mega Man amiibo.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, however, was not previously released on the Nintendo 3DS and contains the SNES title Mega Man 7, the PlayStation title Mega Man 8, and the 8-bit inspired Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 including all of their DLC.

Both Legacy Collections contain special challenges, a museum mode with information on the entire classic series, and a sound room full of rockin’ Mega Man jams.

It should be noted, however, that the physical version of this collection does not contain both games immediately. To get Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, players will need to redeem a download code.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 will be available digitally for $14.99 while Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 will be available digitally for $19.99. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 can be purchased physically with a download code for Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 for $39.99 on May 22nd, 2018.
