Marval Rivals has announced Twitch Rivals, a tournament taking place this weekend on January 18th and 19th. During this event 72 streamers divided into 12 teams will compete for a $200,000 prize pool, with viewers having the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards just by watching the event. Marvel Rivals, the award-winning and critically-acclaimed Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter that lets players assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains battling with unique powers across a dynamic lineup of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse has announced a new tournament with Twitch Rivals, featuring 72 streamers (12 teams) set to compete for a $200,000 prize pool. Viewers also have the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards by watching the event as it unfolds this weekend.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from January 18 to January 19 at 2 PM PST. Below are full details about the participants and other aspects of the competition:

Match Format:

Day 1: Group Stage-Round Robin

• Teams will be divided into two groups of 6 teams
• Two matches per round, teams will be ranked based on win/loss records

Day 2: Knockout Stage-Single Elimination

• Quarterfinals will be Best of 3
• Semifinals and Finals will be Best of 5
