Today, Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and the LEGO Group launched LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The game is playable now for owners of the Deluxe Edition, while all other players will need to wait for the proper launch on May 22nd. Developer TT Games are known for other LEGO video games, such as Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. This new title puts the caped crusader in an original story while exploring memorable moments from his history in comics, film and TV, and games, all with the trademark LEGO game humor.

Editor Joey Caplan gave the game a score of 80 in his review, which you can read above, saying:
I'm pretty sure everyone on the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight dev team could beat the rest of the world at Batman trivia. Sometimes that makes for fantastic jokes and cool recreations of iconic scenes, and sometimes it results in an overabundance of references without the substance to back it up. The Arkham gameplay is a great new spin on the LEGO formula, and this brick-built Gotham may be one of the city's best interpretations yet. If you go in with the right expectations, this could be your new favourite LEGO game.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic, with the Switch 2 version launching later this year. For more on all things LEGO, stay tuned to GamingTrend.
