Announced today, WarioWare Get It Together is the latest entry in the beloved WarioWare franchise. It is set to release on September 10, 2021.
Like its predecessors, the game features a collection of micro-games that are gone just as soon as they come. This time, though, the game supports two players in the mainline experience. Typically, WarioWare games relegate multiplayer gameplay to separate, pared down mini-games, so this is certainly an interesting change. Also different about this entry is the ability to play as Wario and other longtime WarioWare characters in the micro-games.
Each character has a distinct ability, changing the way you tackle each microgame. For the first time in the series, two players can also play microgames together on the same screen by sharing two Joy-Con controllers, or using wireless play with an additional system and game.
Overall, I am excited to see what Nintendo brings to the table with this new direction for the series.
WarioWare Get It Together is available now for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop.
