Today, Ubisoft shared an overview trailer for Rayman Legends Retold, as well as details on the game's accessibility features.
If the player dies repeatedly at the same checkpoint, Betilla the fairy will offer her help to assist through Fairy Blessing. Fairly Blessing prevents damage, allows flying, movement through breakable obstacles, and revives the player and all floating allies.
In the Land of the Livid Dead, colliding with corrupted elements while the Fairy Blessing is activated will replace the use of Fairy Radiance. If Fairy Blessing has been activated, players can invoke it by pressing L2 / LT / ZL (by default) and then again to remove the effect.
Players can also reject Betilla's offer, either once per section or for the entire game. The Golden Heart will also spawn after a certain number of deaths at the same check point. This functions just like a normal heart, but protects the player from an extra hit.

There are various features to reduce hand strain as well, such as Autoshoot for Dragon Rides and a hold/toggle option for Gliding, Running, and Murphy eating cake. Furthermore, automatic actions will have certain events happen automatically:
• Shoot Fairy Blaze
The use of Fairy Blaze is tied to specific sections of certain realms. To avoid having to spam the input (Default: X / Square), the Automatic Action feature will allow the player to throw Fairy Blaze at regular intervals. Pressing the input a second time will stop the automatic Fairy Blaze throwing.
• Fairy Radiance
Fairy Radiance, which cleanses the corruption, works in a similar fashion (Default input: B / Circle / A). The Automatic Action feature will shoot circles of Light at regular intervals also.
• Tickling
When crossing path with Frankies, sometimes Rayman can request help from Murphy, who will distract the enemies by tickling them. As the default interaction requires you to press the input multiple times in quick succession (Default Y / Triangle / X), Automatic Action will allow you to press the button only once. The tickling will stop as soon as you press the input again.

Visually, players can toggle an Arachnophobia Mode, High Contrast Mode, activate highlights for interactives, rewards, enemies and harmful objects, and players. You can adjust the opacity of the HUD background, adjust subtitles in three font sizes, activate speaker names, and add a background.
Here are a few more, grab bag options:
• Multiple input devices - both keyboard/mouse and gamepad support on PC.
• Remapping of gameplay controls for gamepad and keyboard on all platforms.
• X and Y axis inversion for both sticks and mouse for the ride gameplay.
• Vibration intensity can be turned off.
• No QTEs (quick time events)
• Alternative sans-serif font for readability
• Camera shake can be disabled
• Separate volume sliders for master, music, ambient, SFX, voice and UI sounds.
• No important information is communicated through sound alone.
