Over the past weekend, a select group of players from Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] had the chance to attend the Dandelion Meeting event, which highlighted new events for the mobile free-to-play game. In addition, Square Enix has also released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III which include some LCD-inspired minigames in the Classic Kingdom.
During the panel, Franchise Director Tetsuya Nomura and KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross] Producer Hironori Okayama shared their insights into the inner-workings of the beloved series. Additionally, in a special video message, KINGDOM HEARTS III Co-Director Tai Yasue revealed that the new mini-games inspired by classic Disney cartoons and 1980’s LCD games that fans were able to play at the event will also be available to play in both KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross] and KINGDOM HEARTS III.
Nomura also announced that fans will have a unique chance to become part of history in KINGDOM HEARTS III. Up to 300 players will be selected to have their KINGDOM HEARTS Union χ[Cross] player names appear in a secret location within KINGDOM HEARTS III.
In addition to the new video, Square Enix has also announced a new PvP mode and various login bonuses for current Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] players. Stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
