Embark announces The Finals Season 4 will be released September 26

The Finals Season 4 is rapidly approaching, with a release date set for September 26. With the game hitting three months since its last season’s start, players are ready for some big new changes and content drops. According to a Season 4 introduction blog post, Embark is replacing Ranked Terminal Attack with Ranked Cashout, which is a big change the community has been requesting for some time. Embark also released a trailer, which gave us a glimpse into the possible weapons players will be getting, such as a pair of dual-wielded pistols being displayed front and center. Also in the trailer is a rapier, which could either be a skin for the existing sword or an entirely new weapon (the former is more likely). For more information, read the passage below:

Today, Embark Studios officially announced Season 4 of the team-based, free-to-play shooter THE FINALS, launching September 26. This new season will introduce an all-new theme, a new arena map, weapons, battlepass and more. With ranked Cashout coming back and new elements that harken back to the first season of THE FINALS, Season 4 is bringing players back to the heart and soul of the game.

Highlights include:

Cashout Ranked – Season 4 will see the return of Cashout as the Ranked mode. Contestants must hunt for vaults, defend the cashout, revive their team and coin back in again and again! Terminal Attack will still be available to play as a casual mode.

Choose Your Sponsor – This season, players will have the opportunity to partner with 1 of 3 sponsors. Each sponsor will reward your loyalty with unique rewards. Contestants must choose one brand to represent for the entire length of the season. The lineup for this season’s sponsors will include HOLTOW, ENGIMO, or ISEUL-T.

New Map – With a new season of THE FINALS, comes a new map. Fortune Stadium is a brand-new Arena map and will feature districts dedicated to each generous sponsor.
