London, May 25th, 2023 — After amassing awards and plaudits from critics and PC gamers alike, Playstack and Color Gray Games are delighted to bring The Case of the Golden Idol its twisted tale of desire, deceit and death to Nintendo Switch today.
The Case of the Golden Idol has been optimized for a console-first experience on Nintendo Switch. Players can examine murder victims and potential suspects and gather evidence by utilizing the intuitive touch-screen, or use the custom-developed game controller layout.
Along with the launch of the base game, Playstack will also be releasing the all-new expansion Golden Idol Mysteries: The Spider of Lanka on the same day. Acclaimed for delivering even more satisfyingly complex mysteries to unravel, The Spider of Lanka currently enjoys a 98% positive user review score on Steam.
Both The Case of the Golden Idol and Golden Idol Mysteries: The Spider of Lanka will be available separately on the Nintendo eShop, as well as available together via a discounted bundle during the first week of launch.
