Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the first expansion for its action RPG Code Vein II, titled Mask of Idris. Set in the Forsaken World, the expansion delivers a history-altering story that once again has you transcending time and space, exploring new areas, and taking on memorable new challenges.
The Mask of Idris expansion takes place in the Forsaken World, a realm born from the converged passions of worlds erased by historical alterations. At its heart sits a colossal, swirling spindle drawing in emotions across time and space, one that now threatens to bleed into reality. Along the way, you will encounter Liv Voda, the alluring and combative guardian of time and space.
Mask of Idris serves as post-game content, requiring you to have reached the "Luna Fraterna" ending of the main story and completed the sub-mission "Valentin's Request" before beginning the new campaign.
Bandai Namco is also releasing Free Update Version 2.0 alongside the expansion, adding new content that includes the ability to explore the post-main game world alongside your partners. More details on the free update and additional content are planned for release at a later date.
Mask of Idris is available to purchase now and is also included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Code Vein II, which is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In case you missed it, check out our review of the base Code Vein II.
