Are you ready for a throwback? Naruto: Ninja Arena to be released next year, focuses on first series

Can you believe the Boruto anime was released three years ago? Maybe it’s time we get back to the original Naruto series, as Japanime Games announced that it will release the board game Naruto: Ninja Arena next year. This exciting game for 2-4 players will allow players to relive the Chuunin exam days as they play as their favorite Naruto characters.

We are so excited to announce another upcoming game for 2021. Previously, we worked with Don’t Panic Games on the release of Cowboy Bebop: Space Serenade earlier this year. With the success and praise that Cowboy Bebop: Space Serenade received, we are deeply excited to see what comes of Naruto: Ninja Arena! This fast-paced game all about simultaneous dice rolling for 2-4 players captures the essence of combat during the iconic Chuunin exams.

Visiting the EU, especially SPIEL, is one of our favorite events for any year. While we are not in attended for SPIEL.digital this year, we are grateful to work with many talented folks who are. With that, Don’t Panic Games announced Naruto: Ninja Clash at SPIEL.digital then interviewed the designer, Théo Rivière (Draftosaurus, Nagaraja, Sea of Clouds), about the game during SPIEL.digital Day 1! Click the link to check out the interview and learn more about the design process involved with this game!

We tend to have a number of deck-building games in our catalog, but we love adding new, interesting games that happen to fall within our specific focuses. We cannot wait to get this game in your hands next year, but for now, we hope you enjoy SPIEL.digital and all the wonderful offerings everyone in attendance has to show!
