“Adventures Go On!” — Pokemon GO gets 5th anniversary video

Niantic and The Pokemon Company posted a video today to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Pokemon GO.

According to The Pokemon GO team,

This video is a montage of the real-life experiences of our Pokémon Trainers from all around the world. In the past five years, there’ve been as many adventures as there are Trainers and their Pokémon, and the discoveries they’ve made are even more boundless. We hope that this will bring back some fond memories of your own experiences as a Pokémon Trainer. No matter where your adventures take you, we’re all connected through the world of Pokémon GO.

In the past 5 years,

• More than 450 million friendships have been forged through Pokémon GO.
• Pokémon GO has been downloaded more than one billion times across 150 countries and territories
• Niantic Explorers have collectively walked over 38 billion kilometers, a number that’s growing every day.
