Vampire: The Masquerade is one of the longest-running TTRPG universes out there, and now the next iteration of it will be revealed at Gen Con 2026:
At Darkness Emergent 2026, White Wolf announced that the next Vampire: The Masquerade project is in development. The next project of the modern horror tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) marks a new era for White Wolf, offering Kindred a deeper look inside the expansive Vampire: The Masquerade universe. More details will be revealed at Gen Con 2026 in July.
Kindred attending Gen Con can sign up now to view a live, Actual-Play session and to be among the first to playtest the new content before it launches. Make sure to get a seat for the Future of White Wolf panel, where the next Vampire: The Masquerade project will be unveiled.
Development is led by World of Darkness Creative Director Jess Lanzillo, a veteran world builder and storyteller in the TTRPG space. As Lanzillo’s debut project at White Wolf, it focuses on player agency while ensuring Vampire’s signature gothic narrative remains true to its bloody roots.
