We recently teamed up with the team at SUNLU, the leading Chinese tech company in 3D printing materials, to put together an awesome project for their presentation at Rapid + TCT in Detroit. We'll get to our work in a second, but let's take a look at what Sunlu brought to the trade floor to showcase:

At the Rapid + TCT, Sunlu introduced the new FilaDryers E2 and SP2, designed to ensure optimal filament quality by maintaining ideal humidity levels for consistent 3D printing. Alongside the FilaDryers, the company also showcased its new range of filaments with exciting new materials, including PA6 - Glass Fiber for strength, TPU90A for a elasticity and wear resistance, PLA Silk+ Four Colors, PLA Matte Dual Color, PEEK Filament for its exceptional heat resistance and mechanical strength, making it ideal for high-performance, and ABS Flame Retardant for safety-critical projects. These innovations offer a complete solution for high-quality 3D printing.

Mathieu Noguier, Europe Sales and Marketing Manager at Sunlu 3D took a moment to comment on the new gear, having this to say:

"With the new FilaDryers and advanced filament range, we’re empowering both everyday creators and specialized engineers to achieve professional-grade results with every print."

The team has used their success in China and the United States to launch into Poland, the Czech Republic, and further expansion into Eastern Europe. It turns out, there are people everywhere that enjoy bringing awesome 3D prints to life!

As part of their celebration, we partnered up with SUNLU and Loot Studios to bring to life one of their most epic creations yet – Izat'al the Dragon Empress. A massive undertaking, the dragon was printed using SUNLU resin at 16K resolution and at 75mm size. The Loot Studios team did a great short showcasing their paint work, which you can see here:

We'll be going over how we printed her and brought her to life on our official Instagram and our BlueSky socials. We had also printed the castle parapets you see in the picture above, but SUNLU underestimated the size. Maybe we did too. It's not going to fit on ANY table, but we'll be looking to show it in totality at some point in the future.

We'll be touching on that process, as well as a few other upcoming collaborations with SUNLU, so stay tuned! We'll also be looking at their new FilaDryer line, so keep an eye right here for all that.

Big thanks go out to SUNLU for their support and partnership! We appreciate it and look forward to bringing more awesome stuff like this to life.
