Today during a Nintendo Direct, Nintendo and Monolith Soft announced that all three numbered Xenoblade Chronicles games are getting Nintendo Switch 2 Editions, joining the already NS2-ified Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Out today (right now) is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Existing players can purchase the upgrade pack for $9.99 to play the game in 4k at 60fps and enjoy new additions like a vehicle, voiced Heart-to-Heart scenes, new equipment designs, and racing modes.







Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will receive it's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition later this year, on July 30th, including a new battle mode where you can control Blades, a new rare Blade and corresponding quest, and new equipment designs for Pyra and Mythra. It's also 4k and 60fps.
Finally, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will get a new wave battle mode, a new hero and hero quest, newly voiced event scenes, and of course run at 4k and 60fps when it's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches on December 3rd.
