Stockholm – July 9, 2026 — Today, Embark Studios launched Season 11 of THE FINALS, with major updates that transform the arena and redefine the new player experience. Season 11, “GALAXY MASTERS,” debuts a new space-inspired map, reworked melee system, Cashout bot matches, a rebuilt new player onboarding system, refreshed Battle Pass, quality of life improvements, balancing updates and more.

Season 11’s new map, Galaxy Estates, is an expansive new arena taking contestants to a retro-futurist space habitat. Combining suburban neighborhoods, commercial facilities and large-scale infrastructure, Galaxy Estates delivers a dense and varied battlefield where tight urban combat spaces meet expansive sci-fi landmarks and dynamic traversal opportunities. Galaxy Estates is the first map in THE FINALS to introduce “Speed Tunnels” and “Anti-Gravity Volumes” allowing for exciting, fast-paced gameplay moments. Galaxy Estates will be playable in Cashout, Team Deathmatch (5v5) and Quick Cash.
This new season also brings a reworked melee system, offering a more competitive and skill-driven loop. The close-quarters combat now features a new stamina system that lets melee players close gaps while allowing opponents fair opportunities to disengage. Additionally, precision-based damage now rewards accurate targeting, creating clearer tactical opportunities and making hand-to-hand engagements feel fairer for both attackers and defenders.
Season 11 welcomes a new generation of contestants with an entirely rebuilt onboarding experience. The New Player Experience immerses players into a curated, competitive journey where they will learn the game, earn recognition from sponsors and begin their rise from the lower leagues to the spotlight of the world's greatest virtual game show. Players can build confidence in Cashout Bot Matches. Playable with bot or human teammates against scaling AI difficulty, this mode allows new and returning players to build confidence, master objectives, and experience THE FINALS at their own pace before stepping into full PvP competition.
