Today, Remedy Entertainment released a new port of their hit game, CONTROL, this time for iOS devices. Control Ultimate Edition for iPhone and iPad is available right now on the App Store for only $4.99 and utilizes Apple's latest hardware and software to deliver responsive controls, stunning visuals, and performance on mobile.

Enter the Oldest House as Jesse Faden, the new Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, a secretive government agency under siege by an otherworldly threat. Reality is unstable, environments shift without warning, and everything is your weapon.

Originally released in 2019 and the winner of over 80 awards, Control is a visually stunning third-person action-adventure known for its distinctive world, intense combat, and layered storytelling. The Ultimate Edition includes the base game and both expansions, The Foundation and AWE, delivering the complete experience in one package, now fully playable on the go.

This version was built specifically for mobile, tweaking everything to fit on a smaller screen with touch in mind. It uses advanced Apple Silicon features including MetalFX upscaling and MetalFX Frame Interpolation for improved image quality and performance. On supported, high end devices, the game also features hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

Control Ultimate Edition is a universal purchase across iPhone, iPad, and Mac, so if you played the Mac version last year you already own the game on your other Apple devices. The game is supposed to be $9.99 / £9.99 / €9.99, but checking the App Store it's currently half that, so pricing may vary. Control is a fantastic game, though I'm a bit skeptical of how it will play with touch controls considering the game is pretty difficult and relies on quick reflexes.
