Street Fighter and Synth Riders combine! VR fighting game Final Fury announced

If you’ve read GT long enough, you know we love Synth Riders.  We also love our fighting games. Well, developer Kluge Interactive has announced their newest title, Final Fury.  Inspired by Street Fighter and with some traditional arcade fighting action reimagined for VR, Final Fury offers up both a single player campaign, as well as multiplayer head-to-head matches.  Awesome visuals, a wide roster of characters, and fast-paced gameplay looks like it’ll be a blast and a good workout to boot.

If you want to get your hands on the game a little early, the team also announced during the UploadVR Showcase that they’d have an open beta in early 2024 for both Meta Quest and SteamVR.

Today’s video for the game showcases two new characters: Lida—a master manipulator who commands a legion of deadly scarabs—and Valdan—a revenant who uses an infernal blade to exact his vengeance upon other fighters.
