AACHEN, GERMANY, April 10, 2025 — Indie developer tobspr has revealed the largest update yet for the popular factory builder shapez 2, named ‘Dimension,’ hitting Steam on June 2nd. With over 450,000 units sold since its Early Access debut, making it a top-selling factory game on Steam, the ‘Dimension’ update lets players expand their polygonal production lines to multi-tiered 3D platforms. The update also revamps the game’s train system, giving players a more efficient way to transport new shapes and liquids with a complete cosmetic overhaul to boot; and adds a variety of quality of life improvements to shapez 2 including new platform layouts, increased space conveyor belt speeds, a reworked UI, and more.

shapez 2 is available to purchase now for 30% off on Steam. Players can pick up the base game for USD 17.49 / €16.79 / £13.99; a stacked ‘Supporter’ edition for USD 24.49 / €23.44 / £19.59 which includes the base game, the rail twister and loop-the-loop cosmetic decorations, and an additional 40 minutes of the game’s ethereal electronic soundtrack; or the Supporter Upgrade DLC for USD 6.99 / €6.64 / £5.59.
