Raging racers,

Milestone today released a brand-new accolades trailer for their recently launched racing title, Screamer, which blends intense racing action with a deep narrative brought to life through an incredibly detailed anime art style.

Released on March 26, 2026, Screamer delivers a brand-new arcade experience that blends innovative racing mechanics with fighting actions and a deep storyline set in a dystopic universe rich in anime aesthetics and futuristic vibes. Five rival teams, each driven by their own motives, histories and secrets, compete in the most brutal illegal street racing tournament, orchestrated by the mysterious Mr. A. Inspired by ’80s and ’90s anime and manga, gameplay and narrative intertwine to create a fast-paced, strategic and cinematic experience, brought to life through collaborations with industry-leading partners, including animated cutscenes by Japanese studio Polygon Pictures and an international actor cast featuring Troy Baker and Aleks Le, two of gaming's most recognizable voices.
With an intense narrative that keeps the action past the red line off the track and an intense anime visual style, there isn’t a single slow moment in Milestone’s reimagining of this pioneering racing series.

Are you a racing fan? Have you checked out Screamer yet? What are your thoughts?
