Long hair, don't care. Wait, not Sampson... SAMSON! This Wick-ed looking new brawler comes from the creators of games like Just Cause, and it's pretty slick so far in every presentation we've seen. You'll be able to get hands on it soon as well, with Samson coming to PC on April 8th. Check out the new trailer and announcement below!
NACKA, SWEDEN – February 26, 2026 – Liquid Swords, the studio founded and led by a senior team whose past work helped create genre-defining action experiences like Just Cause and Mad Max, today announced at IGN Fan Fest that their debut title, Samson™: A Tyndalston Story, is launching on April 8th. Samson delivers an action experience grounded in consequence and survival, set in a city built to deliver tension at every turn. Players can wishlist Samson: A Tyndalston Story on Steam and the Epic Games Store today.
Watch the IGN Fan Fest trailer here:
After decades of building expansive worlds, Samson is the result of a seasoned team fine-tuning their experience into a refined ambition: smaller in scope but sharper in execution. Combat is grounded and physical, and vehicles serve as tools for momentum and escape. Players take on the role of Samson McCray, a man fighting to stay ahead of a crushing debt that tightens by the hour as they navigate Tyndalston, a corrupt city that reacts to their choices. Every job, fight, and decision leaves a mark that cannot be undone.
Samson is built on a simple, brutal truth: every day has a cost. Debt grows with interest, and time is not on your side. Each job burns a limited pool of Action Points, and every decision shifts how the city treats you—there are no do-overs. Players have to move forward because standing still makes everything worse.
“I’ve spent a large part of my career building massive games. With Samson, we knew that bigger doesn’t always equal better and had to be extremely deliberate in what we built,” says Christofer Sundberg, Founder and Creative Director at Liquid Swords. “Samson is the result of our team’s work, tirelessly fine-tuning what our players expect, and more importantly, what makes games fun. It’s not bloated, it’s all about focus, and we keep players at the center of every decision. Fans of gritty 90’s action flicks have something to look forward to when Samson releases on April 8th. Buckle up, because you’re in for a ride."
