Pre-order any digital edition of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 4 and, in addition to the other incentives mentioned here in the main Modern Warfare 4 Pre-Order Blog, you’ll also receive the “Inner Circuit” Weapon Blueprint for the M4 Assault Rifle, fully functional and ready to use at launch.
Two Visual Treatments. One Weapon Build.
Players who pre-order the game digitally on XBOX Series X|S will view the Inner Circuit Blueprint in a translucent OG Green visual treatment. Designed as a tribute to 25 years of XBOX, the Inner Circuit Blueprint takes cues from classic translucent Xbox hardware. Its transparent green finish exposes the weapon's internal systems, turning the technology beneath the surface into part of the visual identity.
Players who pre-order a digital edition of the game on all other supported platforms — PlayStation® 5, Steam, Battle.net, Nintendo® Switch 2, or XBOX on PC, will receive the same fully equipped M4 Weapon Blueprint, with an alternate mil-spec visual treatment. Both versions use the same attachments and perform identically in-game.
This is also the appearance visible to players on those platforms when viewing the Weapon Blueprint in-game.
For example, if you’re playing on PC and match against someone on an XBOX Series X|S console, you will see the Weapon Blueprint with its mil-spec visual treatment, while an XBOX console player sees the translucent OG Green version. Only players on XBOX Series X|S consoles can see the anniversary treatment. The visual treatment is platform-specific rather than selectable.
Both versions are functionally identical. Each uses the same M4 weapon build, attachments, and gameplay characteristics; only the visual treatment changes according to the platform on which the Weapon Blueprint is redeemed.
The Inner Circuit M4 Blueprint: Gunsmith Details
The Inner Circuit Blueprint for the M4 Assault Rifle equips five attachments, focusing on enhancing the weapon’s accuracy, handling, and mobility. Compared to the base M4, this selection of attachments offers stronger performance at mid- and close-range, while lessening some effectiveness at longer distances. It comes with the following Attachments unlocked:

A light-profile short barrel that improves handling and mobility at the cost of recoil control and effective range.
FTAC Dominion Muzzle
A balanced compensator designed to expel gasses, reducing vertical and horizontal recoil.
