Riot Games reveals new Arcane Season 2 trailer and new content for all their games

Today, Riot Games released a new trailer for the highly anticipated season 2 of Arcane on Netflix. In addition, they announced that new content will be coming to many of their titles.

  • To celebrate Arcane Season 2, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics (TFT), League of Legends: Wild Rift (Wild Rift), VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra will be releasing related in-game content over the next few months.
  • Ambessa Medarda, the Noxian general introduced in Season 1 as Mel’s strong and dominating mother, will be coming to League of Legends, TFT, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra.
  • In League of Legends, players will have a chance to play on the Bridge of Progress in an upcoming Arcane-themed update for its ARAM game mode. League of Legends will also be releasing a skin at a new tier—Exalted—that will let players experience Jinx’s Arcane story in-game. Other cosmetics releasing during this time include a skin of Arcane Brawler Vi, featured in Season 2 trailers, and a Jinx-themed Nexus Finisher.
  • TFT will be going all-out-Arcane for their upcoming 13th set, featuring a number of exclusive Arcane champions, like Powder, and mechanics and traits inspired by the show. TFT will also be releasing a series of Arcane-inspired cosmetics including new Arenas and Tacticians, like Chibi Caitlyn, with more to be announced later this year. In addition, TFT’s experimental PvE game mode Tocker’s Trials will return in the first patch of the new set, giving new and returning players a way to learn the ropes in a low-pressure environment.
  • In Wild Rift, Singed and Warwick will be getting gameplay updates. Heimderdinger, who was previously announced, is now available in-game.
  • VALORANT will have a brand new Arcane-themed bundle on the way.
  • Warwick will be joining Ambessa in Legends of Runeterra’s Path of Champions.
  • On November 11, 2XKO, Riot’s upcoming fighting game, will release an updated look at Jinx in preparation for its 2025 launch.
  • In addition to everything going on across the games, real-world Arcane merch will be rolling out as we get closer to the premiere on November 9. Keep an eye out for makeup from Fenty Beauty, apparel from Uniqlo and BlackMilk, collectibles from Funko and Tokidoki, and tons of other stuff across clothes, figures, music products, and more.
  • Watch the last series trailer featuring the second single off of the Arcane Season 2 soundtrack, “Come Play” by Stray Kids, Young Miko, and Tom Morello. The single was released by Riot Games and Virgin Music Group, and fans can listen to the single here.
  • The second season of Arcane debuts on Netflix on November 9 and will be available in three distinct acts. Act One begins on November 9, Act Two on November 16, and Act Three – the final act of the series – on November 23. The animated series, one of Netflix’s most successful animated series ever, is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. Executive producers include Linke, Marc Merrill, and Brandon Beck. Fortiche Production directed and produced the Arcane animation, under the direction of the founders Pascal Charrue and Arnaud Delord.

Quote from Marc Merrill, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Riot Games: “Teams at Riot have worked closely together to try to make the launch of Arcane a moment that can be enjoyed across all of our games. We can’t wait to see what you all think of the show and everything else we have coming.”

Quote from Christian Linke, Co-Creator and Showrunner of Arcane:
“Arcane’s first season gave us an exciting opportunity to deepen the world of Runeterra, through expanding on our storytelling, Fortiche’s stunning animation, music, and a few easter eggs for dedicated League fans. Season 2 will bring you even deeper into the world.”
