Today, ASUS Republic of Gamers opened pre-orders for the ROG Zephyrus Duo, the first 16-inch dual-screen OLED gaming laptop. The Duo can be used in a variety of modes: as one big display, two smaller ones, or as a standard laptop.
Both panels offer a 0.2ms response time, 120hz refresh rate, and the main screen supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. As for HDR, it has 1100 nits of peak brightness, a VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, and a color accuracy of Delta E < 1 with 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

The Duo comes with a magnetic keyboard you can attach or detatch and use with Bluetooth. The keyboard comes with an ultra-large touchpad too. The Duo has a 90 degree kicstand and 360 degrees of rotation on the hinge to support five dedicated operation modes. Dual Screen Mode uses the kickstand and nixes the keyboard for a multi-monitor experience. Laptop Mode is a standard 16-inch laptop mode with the keyboard attached right below the main screen. Sharing Mode has each screen facing someone at 180 degrees. Book Mode sets both screens in portrait orientation, similar to Dual Screen Mode. Finally, Tent Mode has the hinge form an A-frame, allowing two people to play games together.
As for what's inside, the Zephyrus Duo has an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. To keep it all cool using ROG Intelligent Cooling technology with dual fans and a graphite sheet to disperse heat. The Duo starts at a whopping $4,499.99 for the RTX 5070Ti version, or $5,499.99 for the RTX 5090 version.
