NVIDIA preps for big releases, with DLSS 3 support coming during Star Wars Outlaws launch and more

NVIDIA’s DLSS tech is magic. It’s been amazing watching it at work, and it’s great to see we’ll be using it on one of this year’s biggest releases. Today, it was confirmed that Star Wars Outlaws will launch with DLSS 3 capability, adding better performance to what looks like a stellar upcoming title. We’ve also got confirmation on two other titles, with Tribes 3 and The Outlast Trials receiving DLSS 2 updates. Take a look at the info below, and prepare those drivers!

This week, the news hits that one of the year’s most anticipated blockbusters will hit shelves with game-enhancing experience-improving RTX technologies.

Star Wars Outlaws To Launch On August 30th with NVIDIA DLSS 3, Ray Tracing and Reflex 

At GDC, NVIDIA announced that Star Wars Outlaws players will get the definitive PC experience, leveraging the game-changing technologies of GeForce RTX GPUs to enhance graphics, accelerate performance, and make gameplay even more responsive.

Today, Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games revealed that Star Wars Outlaws is launching on August 30th with pre-orders starting today. They also shared a new story trailer and screenshots to get fans excited.

Experience the first-ever open world Star Wars game, set between the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, coming August 30th enhanced with NVIDIA DLSS 3 AI-powered upscaling and frame generation, Ray Tracing and Reflex. It will also be available in the cloud on GeForce NOW.

TRIBES 3: Rivals and The Outlast Trials now available with DLSS 2

Prophecy Games’ TRIBES 3: Rivals is a team-based first person shooter that elevates the genre with jetpacks, skiing, and class-based warfare. Teamwork, tactics, high speed, and intense combat reign supreme in this rebirth of the world’s fastest shooter. Available now in Early Access, TRIBES 3: Rivals includes support for DLSS 2.

Please note, when enabling DLSS you’ll need to manually adjust the Resolution Scaling option to increase performance – for DLSS Performance Mode at 4K, set the slider to 50%; at 1080p and 1440p, set it to 66% for DLSS Quality Mode.
