MOUSE gets a stunning new trailer at The Triple-i Initiative Showcase

MOUSE is a game I can’t wait to play. At today’s Triple-i Initiative Showcase, we got another look at the black-and-white FPS, and it’s looking fantastic. We’re still waiting on a date beyond the vague 2025, but you can wishlist the game on Steam. Check out the trailer above, and details below!

Melbourne, Australia – April 10, 2024 – PlaySide Publishing – in partnership with Fumi Games – has revealed the latest gameplay teaser for the upcoming 1930s noir-fueled, cartoon-inspired FPS – MOUSE.

Premiering as part of the Triple-i Initiative Showcase, the latest gameplay trailer teases some of the brand-new gameplay mechanics in development, including:

• Grappling Hook – Enables attachment to designated points for rapid movement and traversal.

• Helicopter – Reduces descent speed and facilitates extended aerial traversal.

• PowerUp Spinach – Used to augment and enhance melee gameplay.

Alongside the new gameplay showcase, MOUSE has launched its official Discord server.

Announced in 2023 and set to launch in 2025, MOUSE boasts a unique visual style inspired by the charm of 1930s rubber hose animation, transporting players to a nostalgic era of early cartoons. Players assume the role of a private detective navigating a noir city teeming with mob violence and a host of characters from the criminal underbelly.
