Ahead of the February's release of METRO 2039, the franchise is getting a technical boost. The Next-Gen update for both METRO 2033 Redux and METRO Last Light Redux has released, and it's free of charge for owners.
The Next-Gen update will give gamers on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 the definitive way to enjoy those two iconic games. It features 4K at 60 FPS (or 120 FPS if your monitor supports it), as well as a host of other visual updates and performance enhancements. This will give fans a chance to go back and enjoy the series' origins ahead of the release of METRO 2039 on February 4, 2027.
