Unless you're an Optic fan, COD Champs weekend didn't disappoint. The Call of Duty League's annual "Superbowl" was intense, and it really came down to who could make the winning play. Faze Vegas managed to hold on for THREE separate Search and Destroy maps, with illogical fortitude in Round 11s. Abuzah outsmarted both Mercules and the crowd in a critical 1v1 which solidified Faze's championship aspirations.
With the win, Simp found his third LAN ring (along with a Champs MVP), and can be considered one of the greatest Call of Duty players of all time. Drazah has a second ring, and is arguably the Optic Reaper with his success against the team. O4 and Abuzah received their first rings, as well as vengeance for their loss last year in the 2025 Champs Grand Finals versus Optic. Congratulations to Faze Vegas, deserved Black Ops 7 champions in 2026!

FaZe Vegas has been crowned the 2026 Call of Duty League Champion in their home city following a thrilling weekend of competition at CDL Champs in Las Vegas. Viewership across the entire event led to over 5M minutes watched and nearly 340,000 viewers tuning into the Championship event.
After an unpredictable season in which each Major was won by a different team, the championship weekend delivered major upsets, a Cinderella run from Riyadh Falcons and a highly anticipated Grand Final between FaZe Vegas and OpTic Texas.
OpTic entered the final seeking an unprecedented third consecutive Call of Duty world championship, while FaZe Vegas was competing for its first title of the CDL era. FaZe ultimately secured the championship with a 5–2 victory in the best-of-nine Grand Final.
